The first one was from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/theqaa\/events\/110393542\/\">Meetup group<\/a>.  The second one which I bought via Amazon was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0073LAK04\/\">Oregon Kombucha Complete Starter Kit<\/a>.  The third one I got from Kombucha Kamp and was two scoby cultures as <a href=\"http:\/\/store.kombuchakamp.com\/2-Kombucha-Cultures-SCOBYs.html\">2 Full Size Kombucha Mothers<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI bought two new ones so that I could run an experiment.
